Pastor Jim Harris was raised in Phoenix, AZ where in August of 1988 he had a powerful conversion experience that set him free from a life of drugs and hopelessness. Pastor Jim graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 1986 and New Life Bible School the following year. He began pastoring Portland Christian Center in November 1988. Pastor Jim’s down-to-earth and transparent teaching style is a refreshing change for many who have traded “religious” rules and regulations for a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The calling and anointing on his life are evident as the power of God manifests regularly to set others free just as the Lord set him free way back then. He has traveled to such places as Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Latvia, Haiti, Cuba, the deep regions of the Amazon and several cities in Mexico teaching in Bible schools and preaching in churches and crusades. Pastor Jim is ordained with Rhema Ministerial Association International

Pastor Sherry Harris is a graduate of Charis Bible College and is licensed with Andrew Wommack Ministries. She is a gifted Bible teacher and administrator whose years of business experience enables her to successfully deal with the everyday issues of ministry.
Sherry's no-nonsense style and get-it-done attitude has been a tremendous asset to the success of the church, her husband, and the International ministry they founded. She has seen the supernatural power of God operate in her life and ministry and has a true heart for revival.
She leads our Women's Ministry and has a heart to lead women into walking out the call God has on their lives.
Sherry enjoys spending time with her children and most especially her grandchildren
